TPMS Support Tools

Knowing what your tyres are doing when fitted to the car is only half of the challenge. Unless tyres are in their optimum condition before fitment, achieving the best possible tyre performance becomes increasingly difficult.

bf1systems recognise the challenge that teams, series organisers and tyre manufacturers face to ensure that tyres are in their optimum condition before being fitted, and offer a range of tools, to suit different categories and budgets to ensure this can happen.

QuickScan

The recently launched QuickScan tool is a tyre engineer’s new best friend!

Compact, rugged, easy to use and with a long battery life, QuickScan provides a reliable way to check the status of individual wheels at any time, to ensure the expected TPMS sensor is fitted to the wheel, and that all readings for pressure and temperature are as expected.

QuickScan is compatible with all 1SYSTEM TPMS and IRTPTMS wheel sensors used in applications such as GT3, LMDh, LMH, IndyCar and Australian Supercars.

QuickScan is also now available as a specific part to allow operation with all Porsche 992 generation Cup cars, and Ferrari Challenge 296 cars, meaning for the first time teams can have a hand-held tool to allow them to check the status of their TPMS sensors on the Porsche Cup and Ferrari Challenge cars.

Garage Monitoring System (GMS)

Teams with a large number of wheels fitted with 1SYSTEM wheel sensors have the perfect way to have an overview of all their wheels, across multiple locations by using our Garage Monitoring System (GMS).

The GMS requires no TPMS specific hardware, instead making use of existing computers and their build in 2.4GHz transceivers, thereby removing the need for TPMS specific receiving hardware and the cost and complexity associated with setting this up.

The GMS consists of the Data Collection Service (DCS) and the GMS API. The DCS can be installed onto multiple computers located near wheel storage areas, where data is collected and sent across the team network to the API. Once processed, this data is made available via the bf1systems GMS GUI or can be integrated into a team’s own software.

The GMS GUI is web based, meaning any team members on their network can see the status in a clear, easy to understand on any web connected device, meaning you are not restricted to just laptops, but phones and tablets can also be used to check the status of your wheels.

In series such as IMSA where wheels are stored across multiple locations, or at Le Mans where wheel assemblies are spread out over large areas, the 1SYSTEM GMS can receive data from DCS nodes in multiple locations such as the pit lane and the garages, and all data is collated and made available, meaning all team members can see the status of all wheel assemblies in one place.

Confidence In Tyre Performance

From hand‑held verification of individual wheel sensors to full visibility of wheel assemblies across multiple locations, bf1systems provides teams with the tools they need to ensure tyres are in the best possible condition before they are fitted to the car.

With QuickScan, engineers can quickly and confidently check TPMS sensor status, pressure and temperature on demand, while the Garage Monitoring System (GMS) enables teams to monitor large numbers of wheels across garages, pit lanes and storage areas all in one place and without the need for additional TPMS hardware.

Together, these solutions help teams, series organisers and tyre manufacturers remove uncertainty from tyre preparation, improve operational efficiency, and ensure that tyre performance is never compromised before the car leaves the garage.
