With 1SYSTEM due to the fact that the wheel sensors communicate using 2.4GHz, this means they are able to communicate with laptops and tablet PCs. Therefore there is no longer a requirement to have a dedicated tool, and instead the 1SYSTEM App can be run on a Windows laptop or tablet.
All functionality previously found in our Mini Analyser has been integrated into the 1SYSTEM App allowing users to see the status of their wheel sensors at any time. Wheel sensors can be put into sets within the software, providing a quick and easy way for a tyre engineer to see the status of a particular wheel set.
For applications where a team, manufacturer or series wish to see the status of many wheel sensors, then the new 1SYSTEM Garage Monitoring System (GMS) continues leading the market by providing a distributed network architecture, able to monitor the status of thousands of wheel sensors. The GMS Data Collection Service (DCS) runs as a Windows service, and uses the computer’s built in or external Bluetooth hardware to receive data from the 1SYSTEM wheel sensors. This data is then passed via a network connection to a computer running the GMS API, and this collates the data and passes it to either the 1SYSTEM GMS GUI, into an Excel sheet, or to the customer’s own software.
The 1SYSTEM GMS allows for multiple DCS nodes to be added to the network, meaning any garage / pit setup can be accommodated, and sensor data will always be received.
